From the Principal

"Catholic education gives soul to the world." Pope Francis

As we prepare our hearts to embrace Lent next week, it has been wonderful to see so many aspects of College life taking place in the first four weeks of Term 1: Veritas Leader initiatives, Junior Music program launch, public speaking and debating workshops, Year 10 excursion to the iFLY indoor skydiving, to name a few. In this newsletter issue, you will also find some helpful resources from our Maths Department, Learning Centre, and the ever popular Careers Department.

Added to this, I commend students on their approach to their learning in 2022 and to the establishment of student wellbeing initiatives to support this. Teaching and support staff have once again shown their commitment and ability to succeed through a spirit of optimism, communication, and dedicated teamwork, with care for all. It is a reminder that successful endeavours are difficult to undertake individually.

Over the coming weeks, we look forward to opportunities to come together as a community for a number of whole school events. Primary among will be them our Opening School Year Eucharist and Commissioning of Student Leaders, International Women’s Day Breakfast and later, our VCE Laureates Assembly, recognising so many students who achieved personal best in 2021, with the great support of staff. Parents will have an opportunity to engage with teachers later in the term for Learning Conversations. I also invite all parents to utilise the SchoolTV resource to help your daughters to navigate adolescence.

In the meantime, we look forward to welcoming new Year 7 parents to the College this evening hosted by the ÃØÉ«´«Ã½ Parents’ Association. Lastly, we will be hosting the annual Open Evening on Thursday, 10 March 2022, so please come along to discover the ÃØÉ«´«Ã½ spirit. To speak with someone about the enrolment process, please visit our website.

Together, our community works and gathers in hope for all that can be in 2022.

If you have not already done so, please follow us on and to find out what has been keeping our students busy.
