The students on the ÃØÉ«´«Ã½ in ÃØÉ«´«Ã½ pilot trip had an unforgettable experience during a cooking class at a Michelin-star restaurant in Tavarnelle! They thoroughly enjoyed making tortellini, penne, ravioli and cannelloni, and were gifted special aprons to commemorate the experience. A definite highlight was sampling the delicious food they had prepared themselves.
Our Year 9s then divided into two groups for a day of collaboration with local students from Tavarnelle. One group delved into the town's rich history, while the other walked to Barberino to learn and play new sports games. Following this, the students continued their community project at the monastery, painting terracotta pots to be displayed in the cloisters. The fulfilling day concluded with a shared dinner in Chianti village, where they celebrated alongside the local community.
